Applied Therapeutic Studies – Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists are experts in physical activity, health and rehabilitation, and help a range of patients with physical difficulties to improve their health and quality of life. Graduates of this programme are able to work in various areas of the health care system, such as hospitals, clinics, medical practices, nursing homes etc. They can also take on administrative or management functions, or go into teaching and research. As the programme integrates a grounding in business and management, graduates are in a good position to set up their own physiotherapy practices.

Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) plus professional qualification as state-recognized physiotherapist from F+U School for Physiotherapy

Starting date: 01.10.

Length of programme: 8 semesters (4 years)

Study centres: Darmstadt, Heidelberg (semester 7 and 8 in Darmstadt)

Applied Therapeutic Studies – Occupational Therapy

Students train to work as Occupational Therapists and focus on the empowerment of people in their daily life by promoting health, well-being and a satisfying lifestyle. Graduates of this programme are able to work in various areas of the health care system, such as hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres, medical practices, nursing homes etc. They can also take on administrative or management functions, or go into teaching and research. As the programme integrates a grounding in business and management, graduates are in a good position to set up their own occupational therapy practices.

Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) plus professional qualification as state-recognized Occupational Therapist from F+U School for Occupational Therapy
