F+U Academy of Languages

With 12.000 students from over 120 countries every year, F+U Academy of Languages is one of the largest language schools in Europe. Offers include year-round intensive courses and exam preparation in German and English (A0-C2) at study centres in Heidelberg and Berlin or online, as well as university admission language exams such as TestDaF, telc C1 Hochschule, TestAs, TOEFL®, IELTS and more. F+U Academy of Languages in Heidelberg offers German and English courses in summer and winter for juniors from 6 to 17 years, specialist language courses for prospective physicians and nurses as well as teacher training courses and compact business language courses. 700 rooms in several halls of residence, a student’s hostel, a school-owned hotel, a boarding school and many host families provide our students with accommodation all year round.

F+U Studienkolleg (accreditation in process)

The state-approved F+U Studienkolleg prepares international university applicants whose university entrance qualification is not equivalent to Abitur (German high school diploma) and who cannot enter German universities directly. Expected starting date: summer semester 2020. The programme is two semesters long. University applicants can attend the following specialization courses according to their chosen university subject: T-course (for mathematical-scientific or technical subjects), W-course (for economic and social science subjects) and M-course (for medical, biological and pharmaceutical subjects). By passing the Feststellungsprüfung (university admission examination) at the end of the programme, international applicants obtain a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification for all German universities.

hwtk | University of Applied Sciences

As a state-accredited private university located in the centre of Berlin and in BadenBaden, hwtk | University of Applied Sciences offers 3 study models for its Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes: • Application-oriented dual work-study • Flexible full-time studies • Distance learning The dual work-study model with the split-week system offers international applicants the possibility to combine theory with practice: Students are employed at a partner company for the duration of their studies and spend 20 hours studying and 20 hours working as trainees. Most partner companies not only cover the tuition fees but also pay a monthly allowance as well. On-campus accommodations as well as an experienced, multilingual International Office will provide “Internationals” with all the help they need for a perfect start into the academic and business world. iba graduates can continue their studies in hwtk’s Master’s programmes Business Management & Development (M.A.) or Organisational Development & Business Coaching (M.A.).
