Your Pathway to a Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Germany
You are an international student interested in studying at iba? Here’s everything you need to know about the application process and how to start your dual study journey in Germany.

Requirements for International Students

  • Recognized school-leaving certificate (e.g. IB, GIB, Studienkolleg)
  • German language level C1 (or DSD II certificate)
  • English language level B1
  • Valid student visa for Germany
  • Blocked account with at least €8,500

In your country

  2. Language acquisition & preparation of documents
    At least a B1 level of German.
    Sending of all documents and verification of the data.
  3. Preparation Interviews & German Culture
    We'll practice with you for the interviews!
    Application & Intercultural online training.
  4. Matching with employer
    Various virtual speed dating sessions with companies. The company would like to get to know you.
    Virtual job interview with your potential new employer. To shine, it is important to find out about the company.

In Germany

  1. Arrival in Germany
    Support in organizing your trip to Germany and help with bureaucratic formalities (bank, SIM card, health insurance, authorities, etc.).
    Understanding of German work culture to help you integrate into German society and support with a "Welcome to Germany" program.
  2. Candidate support
    If you have any questions or would like to get to know other interns from other cities, we will be happy to help you. You can use our WhatsApp number for 6 months.
    Would you like to improve your German? Our language school Academy of Languages offers various subject-specific language courses.
